FEATURED VIDEO - LIGHT BABY was an original short film project exploring isolation, routine, and UAP abduction in a small-town brewery. Production began in early 2025, but due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts with a lead actor, the full film was never completed. However, select footage from a scene—capturing a subtle closing moment between co-workers Mikey and Sierra—was reworked into a standalone one-minute short. MIKEY & SIERRA CLOSING was completed and released in May 2025 as a fragment of what might have been, offering a glimpse into the mood and tone of the unfinished story.
Talk Is Cheap is a 30-minute short film blending gritty 16mm film with interspersed 720p HD video to mirror the fractured reality of ambition and manipulation in small-town television. Only the first 12 minutes of the final cut are shared here due to time constraints, offering a compelling glimpse into the rise—and moral unraveling—of a young man who lands a job at a local television station. Drawn under the wing of a manipulative general manager, his rapid ascent takes a darkly ironic turn when roles reverse and the mentor is ousted. Originally adapted from a ten-minute play written by J.M. Salter that premiered at a theater festival in Austin, Texas Talk Is Cheap wrapped production in the late 1990s and screened at several showcases, most notably the New York Short Film and Video Festival in 1999 to enthusiastic audiences!
DAMAGE is a 14-minute art house short film completed in 2004, shot entirely on 16mm to evoke a raw, tactile visual aesthetic. Rooted in Jungian psychology, the film follows a young woman as she journeys through a surreal maze—an abstract manifestation of her own psyche—in search of the key to understanding and accepting her emotional wounds. Stylized, symbolic, and introspective, DAMAGE explores themes of trauma, identity, and healing with minimal dialogue and richly layered imagery. The film also features the haunting, original artwork of local artist Nathanial Kutsch, whose pieces help bring the internal landscape to life with visceral texture and visual metaphor.
Parental Guidance is suggested.
